Group A : Egypt joins Mali to round 2
Egypt’s U20 squad have qualified alongside Mali for the second round of the African youth championships .
The Egyptians progressed on Saturday thanks to a one nil victory over South Africa.A Mohamed Hamdy goal sealed all three points for the North Africans who progress to the next round with six points,behind group leaders Mali who were held to a 1-1 draw by Lesotho in the other final group A game.Mali found the back of the net at the 17th minute through Ballo Drissa before Mosiuda Christopher brought both sides back on level terms eight minutes from time.
Final Group A Classification: 1 Mali 7points, 2-Egypt 6points, 3- South Africa 3points, 4- Lesotho 1 point.
