CHAN 2011: Senegal going back home
Removed at the first round of CHAN Orange last Tuesday after its defeat (0-2) against Tunisia, Senegal is leaving Sudan today according to a communiqué of the Senegalese Football Federation.
The technical staff of the local team who aimed to do better than in 2009 is subjected to any kind of criticism.
It is the strategy that was disapproved by observers who believe that the participation to CHAN Orange 2011 gives a bad image to the national football.
The Senegalese team scored two goals in three matches.
