Tunisia won its qualification for the final of CHAN Orange 2011 at the expense of Algeria at the end of shots (5-4) having completed the match with a draw 1-1. Very happy, the coach of the Eagles of Carthage, Sami Trabelsi dedicated this win to the Tunisians during a press conference after match.
«We got here without having the preparation that we would have liked. With everything that has happened recently in our country we aspire to bring joy to the Tunisian people. Today, we meet one of the strongest team in the tournament; we were dominated in the first period. They come back stronger after the break. (…) The beginning of the match was difficult for both teams which had trouble with the heat of early afternoon. May be a different weather would have helped players produced a best game.
