The Cameroon under-20 national female football team will knock horns in Douala February ending with their counter part of the Democratic Republic of Congo. The match counts for the first leg qualifiers of the 2012 FIFA Under-20 Women’s World Cup to be hosted by Japan from August 18 to September 8. The leopardesses of the DRC who have begun preparations ahead of the encounter will be the hosts in the return leg March 3 in Kinshasa.
It should be noted that the 2012 FIFA Under-20 Women’s World Cup was to be hosted by Uzbekistan but due to some logistical and technical issues, the tournament was tripped from this country and Japan proposed as new host.
