23rd Marrakech Marathon: Kenya and Morocco domineering
Thanks to Stephen Tum and Soumiya Labani, Kenya and Ethiopia shared the laurels of the 23rd edition of the Marrakech International Marathon.
Thanks to Stephen Tum and Soumiya Labani, Kenya and Ethiopia shared the laurels of the 23rd edition of the Marrakech International Marathon. In 2h 08'51", the Kenyan has emerged victorious in front of the Ethiopian Gezahagen Girma (2h 09'29") and his compatriot Daniel Rono (2h 09'50 "). At the same time, the Moroccan Labani (2h 23'56 ") clearly outpaced the Ethiopian Melaku El Fenesh (2h 36'09 ") and Ababa Gérémeskei (2h 36'25").The half-marathon races were won by the Ethiopian Girma Berhamu Gebru (1h 01'59 ") and the Moroccan Malika Asahsah in 1h 11'14" ahead of her compatriot Samira Raif (1h 13'55 ").
