Marugame Half Marathon (Japan) : Kenya in force
Kenya will start as favorite of the International half marathon of Marugame (Japan) scheduled for Sunday, February 5.
Matthew Kisorio, author of an excellent 58 '46 "on the distance in 2011, will lead a Kenyan group made up of seven athletes. Formidable middle-distance runner, Kisorio has already made 26'54 "25" in the 10 000, giving him a true power of acceleration in the half marathon. In Marugame, his main rivals will be his compatriots Mekubo Mogusu (59'48 ") and James Mwangi '1 h 00'34") and the Moroccan Rachid Ksiri (1h 01'52 "). In the women, the Kenyan Sarah Chepchirchir (1h 08'07 "in 2011) and the Ethiopian Tiki Gelana (1h 10'34") will probably compete for the victory, even if they must pay attention to the Japanese Mari Ozaki (1h 09 '33 ").
