Angola: Sports Academy To Be Built In Huambo
The province of Huambo in Angola will soon benefit from a sports academy to improve on the training of athletes in various disciplines. JMG’s club president, Jorge Mangrinha made the announcement today in Angop.
The province of Huambo in Angola will soon benefit from a sports academy to improve on the training of athletes in various disciplines. JMG’s club president, Jorge Mangrinha made the announcement today in Angop.
He said the project; which will be financed by Sporting of Lisboa is a fall out of a cooperation signed last November with JGM.
The 100 hectares infrastructure will be constructed 30 kilometers away from Huambo. Mr Mangrinha said it will be able to contain 3000 trainees in various disciplines, mostly football and athletics.
The cooperation with Sporting of Lisboa intends to train young technicians at various levels of the JGM club as well as ensure the transfer of players to Leonino Academy in Portugal
It should be noted that no date has been stated for the effective start of the project.
