BOA Marathon: Nigerien Triumphs
The BOA marathon ended last week end in Bamako, Mali with a Nigerien winning the competition.
The BOA marathon ended last week end in Bamako, Mali with a Nigerien winning the competition. Kabirou Dan Mallam ran the 42.195km in 2h 33min 19sec. He was followed by a Kenyan who recorded 2h 36min 34sec, not too far from the third (2h37min) that came from Ghana. The only Madagascan, Joachim Randrianirina finished sixth in 2h 48min 03sec. Organized by Bank of Africa, the competition took place at the Modibo Keita stadium in Mali.
