The female senior basketball players of 1o de Agosto have made a great debut into the national tournament of the category as they won Maculusso 59-35 in the opening encounter in Luanda.
Angela Cardoso emerged highest goal scorer (11 pts) of the encounter that took place in the presence of the Angolan Minister for Youths and Sports, Gonçalves Muandumba.
In the other encounter, Interclube held Juventude de Viana 92-26.  Interclube and 1o de Agosto now lead the tournament with 2 pts each.
