Pretoria Half Marathon : Mokoka with a tiny margin, very easily for Kalmer
The South African Stephen Mokoka emerged victorious with a tiny margin in 1h 04'35" during the Pretoria half-marathon ahead of his compatriot Desmond Mokgubu outpaced with only 7 seconds.
The South African Stephen Mokoka emerged victorious with a tiny margin in 1h 04'35" during the Pretoria half-marathon ahead of his compatriot Desmond Mokgubu outpaced with only 7 seconds. The third position on the podium was occupied by Lucky Moahale (1h 04'59 "). In the women’s category, it is the South African Rene Kalmer who crossed the finish line in solo (1h 13'09 "), by outpacing Luisa Leballo (1h 19'58") and Kim Laxton (1h22'50 "). Mokoka and Kalmer, who have respectively realized 2h 10'29 "and 2h 29 '59" in the marathon in 2011, are virtually assured of competing in the 2012 London Olympics.
