Tennis/ATP World Ranking : Kevin Anderson 30th
The South African Kevin Anderson occupies the 30th position in the ranking of the World Association of Professionals tennismen (ATP).
It is the only player of the continent in the top 100. This is the best ranking of the native of Johannesburg since his débuts in the professionals in 2007. He is ranked far ahead of his compatriots
Izak van der Merwe (118th, 491 points) and Rik De Voest (119th, 490 points and the Tunisian Jaziri Malek (122nd, 485 points). Followed by: Raven Klaasen (South Africa, 244th), Fritz Wolmarans (302nd) and Safwat Mohamed (Egypt, 419th).
In the women's honour is also due to South Africa that places Chanelle Scheepers in the Top 50 (44th) when Morocco contents with the 339th place of Nadia Lalami.
