U17 : Egypt victorious
By beating Poland 83-73 in the final, the Egyptian team handily won the U17 Tournament played in Ankara.
Before the final, Egypt successively defeated Poland (83-65), Turkey (76-64), Ukraine (91-69), Russia (68-58), Serbia (66-57), Slovenia (101-53). Twelve teams took part in the competition.
Moreover, the offensive player Ehab Saleh was elected best player (MVP) of the tournament and finished top scorer of the competition.
