It’s all over the news: Senegalese singer Youssou N’Dour announced that he will be running as a candidate in Senegal’s presidential elections in February. Youssou N’dour is best known for his 1994 hit single with Neneh Cherry ” Seven seconds”. Youssou N’Dour registered his candidancy after an overwhelming number of Senegalese peoples asked him to run for president.
Abdoulaye Wade, Senegal’s current president is seeking a controversial third term and like many other Senegalese citizens Youssou N’dour is not having that.
